 Do I have to install the Angelpc software to access the helpdesk service?
Yes. Angelpc installs a 1.8 Mb application in your PC to provide the permanent PC on-line support service. It is easy to install and takes very little time. If you do not have the required Microsoft Windows service pack, it may take a little longer to download from the Microsoft site. You can download from an Angelpc Cd or from our web site.  Once you have your software installed, you are only a click away from our unlimited support. If you need to uninstall the software, it also can be easily done by you. 

 Could the installation of the Angelpc software cause incompatibility with any of my programs or platforms?
Angelpc is compatible with most of the current Windows platforms.  We have no notice of incompatibility with any programs. However, if any problem should occur, your Angelpc technician will assist you step by step on how to solve this incident. 

 I already have my Angelpc software. How can I get my user name and password?
Your user name and password are required to start a support session with AngelPC. They may be obtained once you have paid for your service plan. Both will be sent via e-mail to the account specified by the user, once the payment has been confirmed.
 If you have purchased your Angelpc in a store, you need to locate the alphanumeric code (i.e. ESP-29090-101AB) included inside the software case. Then, from Angelpc’s web site, at “Individuals”\“Register” you need only to fill in your data and introduce this code number in the “Type License Code¨ box. Angelpc will send you immediately your user name and password.

 Can an Angelpc technician access my confidential information that I keep in my computer?
When you as a client requests help, Angelpc technicians can solve an incident or provide support to you through the remote control option, and thus view your screen and move your mouse.
In this case, you, as any user has to do, authorizes the technician access through an authorization box in your screen. You will always be a witness to the work that the Angelpc technician is executing and explaining to you. If you have any doubts or do not want to allow the technician to continue, you can end the connection with the Angelpc disconnect box, or as one client put it plainly, pressing "Escape" or disconnecting the internet cable or wireless switch. Many clients have told us that this is an improvement from when the technician would come, bump them out of their seat to operate the computer and not know what exactly they were doing with their computer. 

 If I use the Angelpc service excessively, will I get additional charges, outside of my monthly o semester fee?

No, the Angelpc service fee is a flat fee with all included services; that is, that each user has unlimited incident resolution service.  However, we also point out that this is an incident solution service, not a step by step class on how to operate your PC and its software, as it is explained in your contract.

 How does the Angelpc service actually work?
To use Angelpc support you only have to have Internet access, preferably broad band to guarantee better connections and service. Yet, if you do not have Internet access you may call the service desk via telephone. The user, once he has downloaded the software, introduces the username and password that Angelpc provided when the service was hired. At this stage, the available technicians can be visualized at the Angelpc dialogue box listing.
To start communications with the technicians, you just need to click on any of the illuminated names and initiate either Chat or Voice requests. They will proceed to service you to solve your incident via Chat, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), or remote control of your PC. These last two only with your authorization.
